When you attend the School of Transformation, you will be joining us in our mission to change our impoverished inner-city community: South Oroville.
As well as participating in teaching, worship, and ministry times, you will learn to love the people of Oroville in practical ways through outreach and community programs.
Every day we run programs for the addicted, homeless, hungry, and impoverished.
Get ready to be inspired to bring transformation to your community.
AS I HAVE
Our home church, the Father's House, has a 12-month residential recovery program for people overcoming addiction.
You will have the opportunity to learn how to help people in recovery and set captives free.
Every week we have a number of different outreaches to the hungry and homeless in our community. We hand out lunches, have family dinners, and even give out popsicles in the summer.
You will be able to serve, love, and pray for these people in desperate need of hope.
We intentionally invest into our neighbors by visiting them weekly and asking how we can help. We provide lunches for neighborhood children and do community clean up projects.
You will fall in love with the people of southside as you invest your time and heart.
GIFT OF HOPE
Every Christmas we run a Christmas Assistance program; we help over 1000 children each year receive gifts. We partner with local businesses and the community to bless families in need.
Gift of Hope is a program you will love to be part of, you will get to spread the love of Jesus at Christmas and share the Gospel.
We do a weekly outreach to an elder care facility in our town. We feel called to share the love of Jesus with these often forgotten people, and we have seen many give their lives to Jesus over the years.
You will love serving the elderly and sick in the community and seeing them find hope in their last years.
